Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 30, 2026. These terms govern your access to and use of the ROSH Atelier website, customer account tools, product catalog, checkout, delivery services, and customer support channels.

1. Scope and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ROSH Atelier ("ROSH", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our storefront, creating an account, checking the mandatory terms agreement, verifying your identity, or purchasing any products, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all website use.

2. User Registration, Authentication & Identity Verification

To access certain features of the store, including tracking orders, using coupons, and managing preferences, you must register a customer account. Account registration requires the verification of your email address via a secure Multi-Stage One-Time Password (OTP) verification system powered by Resend. When you register, a secure 6-digit code will be generated and dispatched to your email address:

  • OTP Expiration: All verification codes are strictly transient and expire exactly ten (10) minutes from creation.
  • Attempt Limits: If you input the incorrect OTP code three (3) consecutive times, the session will be locked, and the active code will be deleted. You must wait for the 60-second cooldown period before requesting a new code.
  • Session Integrity: To prevent brute-force attacks and session hijacking, we encrypt registration payloads using AES-256 before verification.

3. Account Credentials and Session Management

Your authentication sessions are managed via secure, HTTP-only cookie sessions (using the standard connect.sid cookie). Your login sessions remain valid for a maximum of fourteen (14) days. If your session is inactive for fourteen (14) days, it will expire. To protect your data, re-authentication via a session reactivation OTP is required to regain access. You are solely responsible for all activities occurring under your account and for maintaining password confidentiality. Passwords are secured using industrial-grade salted bcrypt hashes on our backend databases (SQLite / MongoDB).

4. Customer Profile and Media Uploads

Registered users can update personal profile information within their account area, including Name, Email, Mobile Number, Shipping Address, Gender, Birthday, Bio, and custom profile avatars. Profile picture uploads are restricted to common image formats (JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF) under 5MB, optimized and compressed to WebP on our servers using the Sharp graphics library. These media assets are saved on the filesystem and backed up directly in the database to prevent loss.

5. Orders, Processing, and Billing

By placing an order through the ROSH checkout, you authorize us to process your order details. All pricing and availability information is subject to change. Order confirmations represent a receipt of request; we reserve the right to cancel or reject orders for any reason (e.g., pricing errors, stock discrepancies, suspicion of fraudulent resellers, or payment verification failures). Order history is preserved indefinitely in our secure databases for accounting and fulfillment tracking.

6. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your luxury garments. Please refer to our operational rules:

  • Cancellations: Cancellation requests can only be accepted if submitted via customer support before fulfillment/dispatch has started. Once an order is marked as "Shipped" or "In Transit," it cannot be cancelled.
  • Returns & Exchanges: Standard products in unworn, unwashed, and original condition with tags intact can be returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery. Exclusions apply to custom atelier pieces.
  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method after our warehouse conducts a quality inspection. Refund timelines depend on your financial institution but typically take 5-10 business days.

7. Promotional Coupons and Offers

Coupon codes, discount vouchers, and special promotional offers are subject to specific rules. Vouchers are validated by our server against the database's coupon rules. Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-transferable, and we reserve the right to modify, cancel, or suspend active coupons if we suspect abuse (including duplicate account creation to exploit single-use codes).

8. Reviews and User-Submitted Content

Customers may submit reviews, ratings, and testimonials. All reviews are stored in our database. We maintain strict review moderation guidelines to ensure a respectful shopping environment. ROSH reserves the right to edit, decline, or delete user reviews that contain profanity, spam, links to external domains, off-topic complaints, or competitor references.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. When modifications are made, the updated Terms & Conditions will be posted on this page. All changes are effective immediately. Administrators may update this page dynamically via the Admin Dashboard's website settings system, and updates take effect storefront-wide in real-time.
